THE SCARF PROJECT: LOOK NO.3 / 5

How do you deal with the "what to wear" dilemma given the inconsistent autumn temperatures? Read more to find out my answer to that question. For the third look of “The Scarf Project” I am showing you the best and fastest way to dress up on bipolar autumn mornings.

THE ONLY THING THAT I hate about autumn is the bipolarity. The mornings threaten to turn you into a popsicle whereas the afternoons threaten to melt you. Add to that inconsistency the frustration of busy mornings and top it off with the “I don’t have what to wear” dilemma, and you can officially say that you got up on the wrong side of the bed. I’ve had my fair share of such mornings, and probably have many more to come, but when it comes to styling, there is one thing that works for me on those days. Well, actually, two things as a combo: blazer + scarf.

I love making blazers because they always give you structure, and I love adding a scarf for both completion and utility. A scarf will give that structure a necessary amount of movement, as well as extra polish. Also, you never know when and what time of day autumn will decide to cool you down, so having something warm to wrap around your neck is always a good way to fight a potential cold.

And honestly, no matter how many “How to wrap a scarf” tutorials I watch on YouTube, on mornings when I barely have time to dress, let alone dress up, I end up wrapping my scarf around my neck only once and walk out the door. Sometimes, that’s all the time and inspiration I have.

And it works because it’s simple, it’s easy, and it still looks beautiful.

What do you think?
