FOR THE FORTH LOOK OF The Scarf Project, I am bringing to you the “scarf collar”, one of my favorite ways to style small rectangular scarfs in the colder months. It’s a simple styling trick that works best with round-collar sweaters, and that elevates your look without you even trying. Autumn and winter call for more heavy artillery aka chunky scarfs that stand strong against any cold, but I like adding a small scarf to my collar to give my autumn and winter outfits a little twist. Instead of making a knot or a small bow, I just tuck both ends of the scarf into my collar.
It’s that simple.
Another tip here is to keep the rest of your outfit fairly neutral, or if you are going to do some "print mixing" like I did with this houndstooth trench coat I made, make sure to stay within the same color palette with your scarf. The point is to bring attention to your neck without making the outfit look too busy.
Stay tuned for my last look of The Scarf Project and comment your opinion on this one!
