IT WAS SO NICE TO go out without having to worry about exams, which, as of yesterday, are officially O V E R. Needless to say, I immediately busied myself with new sewing projects, including a black blazer I started sewing yesterday, and a dress for my partner in crime, the person behind these photos, my colleague Anna.
Today, I wore this printed blazer which I made at the end of last summer, but never had a chance to wear. I am glad I took full advantage of the warm weather today and also that I got back home earlier before crazy winds suddenly swept the sun away.
I am sure that by now you have noticed two things about me: I’m a blazer lover and I make all the blazers I wear. A good blazer is 3/4 of your outfit already, I always say. My living room wardrobe is so full with blazer-to-be fabrics that I recently I made the resolution to buy more fabrics in order to make more different garments which I tend to do less due to my blazer-obsession. My everyday life is too uncomfortable (getting on and off buses, going to school, climbing 4 flights of stairs, sitting almost 8 – 9 hours at school) to incorporate skirts and dresses, however I am planning on starting early with preparing for summer and adjusting myself to wearing more girly clothes.
So, from this summer on, you will be able to witness my slow style change. As for the rest of this outfit, you know these pants, and the short sleeved top I am wearing was also made last summer. Next time I shoot outfit photos with it, I will try not to forget to take a back photo because it closes from behind with cute buttons.
So what do you think? What is your favorite garment to wear?
Thank you for reading, and don’t forget to
lots of love,
